The party system is a unique game feature in games. It can be good or bad, and it is done in all sorts of different ways. How the party system works in The Knight of Niraking is you can find specific NPCs around the map, in locations like Hailstone Village and the Sky Kingdom of Renogia, and you can choose to let them join your quest. if you let a member join your quest you won't have access to riding horses and some areas are inaccessible with specific characters. If you do let them join you might get extra access to areas and powers. in the game menu of your save, you can find the party menu which holds the dialogue for the characters and the party settings. You will only be able to have a certain number of members in your party.
